Candidate must have own transport to get to site as public transport is very limited.
FLEXIBLE SHIFTS AVAILABLE- Monday-Friday start times can be of a choice- 6am/8am/10am/12noon, We expect containers to take up to 8 hours to unload when you first start but after a week your pace should increase and we have found most people finish unloading within 3-4 hours so we have made a promise to not pay you any less then 6hours work per container-
If you decide to unload two containers and complete these they will also be paid at 6hrs per container – 12hrs. (on average taking 6-7 hours to complete)
One of our clients are looking for an enthusiastic, well presented, experienced warehouse operative that has good communication skills to work in a busy, vibrant and clean warehouse based in Essex.
The job will consist of unloading containers (destuffing) and storing in a warehouse including other warehouse duties occasionally if volumes decrease (Sweeping and clearing away packaging/labelling etc-but only if the destuffing duties are fulfilled)
Warehouse Operative Duties will include;
- Loading from containers onto pallets as quickly and efficiently as possible and completing the given task.
- Adhering to health and safety at all times.
- General warehouse duties as and when required
Must have;
- Experience working in a busy environment
- Good verbal and written English
- Good time keeping
- You must be willing to work hard and at a sensible pace (You will be working with other warehouse employees who will be transferring your pallets with fork lift trucks that you have loaded into other parts of the warehouse)
- Your own Steel Toe cap safety boots (Non slip)
- Own means of transport to get to site- Public transport is very limited.
